Michele was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. Her love for animals started at the early age of 5, when she decided to be a veterinarian but when she discovered that she'd have to perform surgery, she quickly changed her mind! Thus, in 2003, The Pet Nannies was born.
Michele always talked her parents into getting her every sort of pet, from cats to dogs, lizards to rabbits, birds, hamsters and even a duck. She loved them all!
After finishing her Bachelors and Masters in Psychology in South Florida, she traded one sunny state for another (and hurricanes for earthquakes!) and moved out to Los Angeles to be closer to her family. It was here, after finally leaving corporate America, that she realized she could mold both her love for animals with her zest for the outdoors, creating her dream career. Thus, The Pet Nannies was born!
Mary (and BJ)
Mary grew up in a small town in Connecticut where she was raised riding and caring for horses, dogs and cats. She graduated with a degree in Theater from Marymount College in NYC where she began her own pet care service called "Happy Dog." When she moved to Los Angeles and began her acting career, she still wanted to work with animals and when she met Michele, she was glad to come on board as a Pet Nannies staffer!
